Cocurricular Record

The Cocurricular Record is an official document that can be sent to potential employers as verification of a student's out-of-class experiences much like the academic transcript verifies coursework.  The Cocurricular Record can also be included in applications to graduate schools or for various other applications as a method of setting a student apart from other college graduates.

Information contained in the Cocurricular Record is verified by the University and must meet certain standards and criteria.  There are fourteen different categories of experiences that can be included in the Cocurricular Record: Athletics and Recreational Activities; Awards and Recognitions; Creative Works; Employment; Internships; Leadership; Memberships; Miscellaneous; Performances; Presentations; Professional Development; Publications; Research; and Service.  These data are collected in aggregate form and can be used for a variety of assessment purposes for the University.
